The unfiltered truth

My story.

THE YEARS OF TRAINING

A Quebecer who refuses the status quo.

I was born and raised in Quebec with a deep conviction: things can be different. Not just different. Better. Fairer. More humane.

From a very young age, I became interested in society, its mechanisms, and its injustices. I questioned, I searched, I debated. While some chose security, I sought impact.

This quest guided my major decisions: politics, entrepreneurship, real estate, and today, the fight for a different kind of health.

“Security has always seemed to me the worst of illusions for someone who truly wants to change something.”

Nicolas Tétrault is an entrepreneur, international speaker, former municipal elected official, and investor in the fields of health, innovation, and business development. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science. He became involved in politics at a very young age, becoming one of the youngest candidates in a provincial election in Quebec and later one of the youngest elected officials in Montreal’s history. He also served as an advisor to the parliamentary assistant of Jacques Parizeau and founded several companies in the media, communications, investment, and health sectors.

2009 – TODAY

Real estate: building something concrete.

After years in political and strategic environments, I felt the need to create something tangible. Real estate became that anchor. I began by investing, then advising, and eventually became a licensed broker with Royal LePage. My approach has always been the same: transparency, rigor, and results.

I learned Montreal’s market from the inside—its cycles, opportunities, pitfalls, and above all the costly mistakes that, over time, become the richest sources of learning.

“I made costly mistakes in real estate. They are now worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in knowledge that I pass on to my clients.

For me, real estate is never just a transaction. It’s a life decision that deserves human and strategic guidance.

THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Arthur.

There are moments that split a life in two: before and after.

For me, that moment is called Arthur.

When my son drowned, we were plunged into an unimaginable reality: having to make irreversible decisions in a context of emergency, pain, and total uncertainty.

As a parent, I discovered how families can be confronted with complex medical choices without preparation, without clear access to all options, and with a deep sense of helplessness.

But we refused to give up.

We searched everywhere. Here and abroad. In the United States, we discovered therapeutic approaches and innovative avenues that had been unknown to us until then.

This experience changed my trajectory.

It taught me that sometimes there are options, technologies, and different paths — but you must know where to look.

“I can't change what Arthur went through, but I can make sure other families have access to the options we didn't have.

2020 – PRESENT

The fight for a different kind of healthcare.

I could have helped my son and carried on with my life. I couldn’t.

I spent the last few years meeting doctors, researchers, patients and experts to better understand emerging therapeutic approaches, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

HBOT involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber to stimulate certain natural mechanisms in the body: cellular recovery, reduced inflammation and support for repair processes.

Today I am working to develop low‑pressure hyperbaric clinics that are accessible in Canada.

This project is not against conventional medicine. It is for patients.

An integrative approach where conventional treatments and new avenues can coexist to offer more possibilities.

I am also fighting for these options to become accessible, recognized and not reserved only for those who can afford them.

Hyperbaric therapy: what is it?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves breathing 100% pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. This increased oxygen saturation activates the body’s natural healing mechanisms: cellular regeneration, inflammation reduction, and neuroplasticity. It is used to treat conditions ranging from sports injuries to brain injuries, as well as autoimmune diseases and neurological disorders.

MY BELIEFS

What I deeply believe.

After more than 25 years of engagement in politics, business, real estate and health, some convictions remain:

  • Transparency is better than a perfect image.

  • Every person deserves access to the best possible health options.

  • Real estate can be a tool of freedom, not just a transaction.

  • Personal pain can become collective strength.

  • The status quo is never inevitable.

For you, today I do not share this story to recount a journey. I share it because you may already have felt this frustration: searching for answers, only to run up too quickly against the limits of the system.

My role today is to help people better understand complex situations, ask the right questions, and explore options that sometimes lie outside the obvious path.

Because often, the answers are not absent. They are simply hard to find.

Do you want to talk about what you are going through?
